Salon Policies

We ask that you carefully read through and understand the following information. By making an appointment at KD Pro Stylist you are agreeing to the policies below.

SECURE BOOKING

To ensure the smooth operation of our salon and provide the best service to all our valued clients, we require a non refundable booking-fee upon making an appointment as stated below. This booking fee is to secure your appointment and also allows us to allocate the necessary time and resources for your appointment.

Please note that while this booking fee is non-refundable, it is not an additional charge. Instead, the amount will be deducted from your final bill on the day of your appointment. Should you need to reschedule your appointment this booking fee will be transferred if the cancellation policy is adhered too.

Haircuts and blow dry services- $30

Colour and Other services- $50

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we expect a minimum of 48 hours' notice prior to your appointment time. This allows us the opportunity to fill your time slot. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur, including illness or the need to care for someone who is ill. While we empathize with these circumstances, it is essential for us to safeguard our business's financial stability. If you provide us with notice prior to this timeframe, your booking -fee will be carried forward to your new appointment. Failure to attend your scheduled appointment is considered a cancellation without notice and will result in the booking fee being forfeited.

To notify us for cancelling or rescheduling at kdprofessionalstylist@gmail.com or reply to the booking reminder you’ll receive 72 hours before your appointment.

Your cooperation and consideration are greatly appreciated. By adhering to these policies, you help us deliver the most outstanding experience and results at the best value.

NEW CLIENTS 

We require all new clients to attend a mandatory             in-person consultation at least 24 hours prior to their chemical service appointment. This consultation enables us to assess the health and integrity of your hair, discuss your hair goals, and conduct a skin test and strand test. If we determine that your hair is not suitable for the requested service, we will notify you and reserve the right to refuse service.

ALTERING BOOKED SERVICES

To ensure our stylists can provide the best experience for all clients, please notify us at least 48 hours prior to your appointment time if you wish to modify any booked services. This includes upgrading or downgrading services. Last-minute changes or removal of services may be treated as a cancellation, and our cancellation policy will apply.

LATE POLICY

Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late will receive a modified service, condensed to fit the remaining time, with no adjustment to the original service price. This policy enables us to maintain a punctual schedule, respecting the time commitments of all clients. If you anticipate being late to your appointment, please notify us via email as soon as possible, we’ll make every effort to accommodate you without disrupting our schedule or impacting other clients appointments. 

COLOUR SERVICES

To ensure your satisfaction all colour services must be accompanied by a cut & style or a blow dry.

Please be aware that our prices are ‘from’ and our services are tailored to each individual client.

Our stylists are happy to give a quoted price before the service commences. 

PRODUCT REWARDS CARD

Stamps can only be collected when card is present at time of purchase, no back dating of stamps will occur.

Full salon reward card must be presented to redeem reward, redemption is only for retail products available at KD Pro Stylist.

Half price item is off the full retail price, excludes sale items. Stamps are only collected and redeemable on full size retail products, excludes electrical or hair accessories and cannot be exchanged, transferred or swapped. One reward card redeemable per product.

KD Pro Stylist reserves the right to remove the rewards program at any stage and cards can not be redeemed after this date. 

ADJUSTMENT POLICY

At our salon, we understand that sometimes adjustments may be needed. While our services are non-refundable, we are more than happy to provide an adjustment service on a case-by-case basis, taking into account individual circumstances. If you have any concerns, please reach out to us within 48 hours, and we'll schedule a complimentary service to address any dissatisfaction. Please note that this applies to a mistake from the service provider (KD pro stylist), and not for changes of preference or deviations from the aftercare instructions. 

To ensure we can promptly address any concerns, we kindly ask that you contact our salon via email kdprofessionalstylist@gmail.com within 48 hours of your appointment for any adjustment requests.
